Plz post proper engine.ini and gameusersettings.ini tweaks
As those engine.ini and gameusersettings.ini tweaks for FPS got locked and brought back by the devs, could one be so kind and post values that can boost FPS and/or how to disable VSync or how to disable the FPS lock.

Thx in advance

the most basic ones are changing vsync to "FALSE" in the settings.ini
and adding -sm4 into the launch options to reduce the draw distance. that increases the fps by quite alot
I'll try that -sm4 thingy. thx.

What about eninge.ini tweak like that?
[/script/engine.engine]
bSmoothFrameRate=false
MinSmoothedFrameRate=5
MaxSmoothedFrameRate=144
bUseVSync=false

What does these do ?
And Do I need bUseVSync=false in engine.ini and gameusersettings.ini ?

Gameusersettings.ini is no longer working according to one of the Devs, according to them some players (Killers) were cheating changing the standard FOV of the game, which gives an absurd advantage to the Killer.

But that was rolled back, as of the patchnotes, 1.4.0a

gameusersettings.ini

frameratelimit= anything but 0 I set mine to 200 (this will remove the fps cap)

for engine.ini you can try setting it to read only and adding this:

[/script/engine.engine]
SmoothedFrameRateRange=(LowerBound=(Type=Inclusive,Value=5.000000),UpperBound=(Type=Exclusive,Value=144.000000))

It does not have any change for me but after I removed the cap I am around 70-75 fps in game.

Thanks Murf for making that clear.

ditto
Just to complete this, you find the ini files under

C:\Users\[YOURUSERNAME]\AppData\Local\DeadByDaylight\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor

(that folder could be invisible under Windows)
