Launch Error FIX
Go to dead by daylight game folder then to CommonREdist-vcredist and folder 2015 instal both x86 and x64 it worked for me.

The problem - api-ms-win-crt-runtime-l1-1-0.dll is missing
Download the Visual C++ Redistributable 2015
1) Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 (64-bit) - for Windows 64-bit

2) Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 (32-bit) - For Windows 32-bit

Run the vcredist_x64.exe (64-bit) or vcredist_x86.exe (32-bit) and select Uninstall or Fix if already installed
Run the .exe again and select Install and restart the computer!
Enjoy the new patch!
