How would this stop bot killers, all they would have to do is change the script/update their program

The only way they'd possibly be able to prevent bots is by randomizing the location of the ready button, which would be kinda ridiculous and would likely look terrible. It's not worth the effort.

You run into a bot: do generators, break hooks and totems, and leave without feeding them. If everyone did that, the problem would eventually be solved.

If they make it somehow you need to move to not get detected as a bot, they will find a way so the bot moves to trick the system. It's a cat and mouse game. Same as with Virus / Anti Virus and Cheats vs. Anti Cheats

There are now in-game mods. They have tools which can be used so there will be more bans. Keep on reporting.

Wouldn't really fix it. All people gotta' do is stay one step ahead of things and then any change you make will be pointless. They get permanently banned now when they get caught though.

You realize that auto clicking is built into most vendor mouse drivers/game software (including Logitech and Corsair), and all the person is doing is moving the cursor and pressing a mouse button to activate that functionality...correct?

This is a ridiculously simple idea that is exploiting the game.
You can move whatever you want, but as long as the ready button is activated by the same button that causes killers to swing, this problem will exist. (Eventually once the bans start, it'll go away.)

If they change the button, people will change their software.

Bans will be what eventually ends it - not moving the ready button around or changing the button used to activate it.

This is not some specially crafted piece of software that is easily detectable. You can't ban people for using LGS (Logitech Game Software) or CUE (Corsair Utility Engine). There are a lot of other things those apps do that are not malicious. This is similar to guns...you can't ban guns because guns can kill people; guns also have other uses, like self defense and hunting.
