It takes a decent trapper to try to trap bushed areas the survivors are likely to walk.
...It takes a great trapper to trap areas the survivors are going to run....
A lot of trappers starting out 'waste' traps by trapping the area near a bushy generator. This is a mistake because survivors generally aproach these areas in times of calm where they can be careful. You need to trap the areas survivors are going to be moving carelessly in, which means either escape paths or transfers between generators.
Maybe with respawing traps, or, like someone suggested weeks ago, make Saboteurs be trapped as soon as they miss a skillcheck on those. I'd appreciate that, although i don't play Trapper.
