You can, but it's not as responsive. I think you just plug your PS4 controller in with the USB charging cable into your PC/laptop. That's what I did anyway, pretty sure.

I have been using a Ps4 controller for the longest time. I set it up in Steam Big Picture mode so that way I could have the Right Stick emulate the Mouse and up the sensitivity of it.

Though now we have a controller sensitivity option so there is no need for Big Picture mode as I believe you can just plug it in and play. No idea how good the sensitivity option is just yet though.

Hi hieudeeptry, as Monsieur Mojo correctly says, if you want to use your DualShock®4 in Dead by Daylight it's recommended to use Big Picture to set it up Steam's API will correctly handle the inputs. Without using Big Picture, Windows 7, 8,10 do not nativley handle the DualShock®4 controller correctly.

Just a question about this, does DBD support PS4 Controller Button prompts? Or is it the steam Controller/ Xbox Controller buttons?

I get Xbox controller prompts and I am using my Ps4 controller through Steam Big Picture (so I can up the sensitivity higher than the game option gives)
