Just how many pallets are there?
I feel like it needs to be said. Two games, two most frustrational experiences I've ever had in my gaming life.
First is Wretched Shop, Autohaven Wreckers.
Nea and Claudette are remaining survivors, and holy cow, they looped me and dropped every single pallet on me that there ever spawned.
Second is Torment Creek. You'd think it'd be less, right?
Nope.
Same looping idiocy.
Same neverending pallets.
Reduce the number of pallets.
It's insane. I feel like I am losing it.

You have to learn which pallet to break and which to avoid; when you know this, the actually "safe pallets" reduce dramatically.

I know where you are getting.
But they are almost all safe. Trust me, if looped correctly, you don't even get to go around them.

On the VANILLA maps (no DLC maps) a huge amount of paletts is actually safe!
Its just due to the design of the map tiles way back before looping was even a thing, it was never a problem that you couldnt outrun most paletts because the palett mechanic was different back then.

This is a average we made upon playing every map 4 times to have randomized palett spawn / radomized tiles etc:
Ironworks of Misery: 22 Paletts.
Coletower: 19 Paletts.
Suffocation Pit: 18 Paletts.
Shelter Woods: 21 Paletts.
Rancid Abbitoir: 17 Paletts.
Thompson house: 19 Paletts.
Fractured Cowshed: 14 Paletts.
Rotten Fields: 12 Paletts.
Torment Creek: 20 Paletts.
Bloodlodge: 21 Paletts.
Gas-Haven: 21 Paletts.
Wreckers Yard: 24 Paletts.
Wretched Shop: 23 Paletts.
Azarovs Resting place: 23 Paletts.
Crotus Prenn: 26 Paletts.
Lyrns memorial Treatment Center: 22 Paletts.
Lampkin Lane: 21 Paletts.
Pale Rose: 19 Paletts.

Imho that's actually just exaggeration. There's always the random factor, I know that, who can give the survivors more safe spots, depending on spawns; but overall, there are many pallets serving no purpose against a skilled killer who knows when to take advantage of bloodlust.

Asylum is bugged, they said that in last devs stream. They're gonna fix it soon™ with the next big patch.

Wretched Shop is spawn dependant. Sometimes it is frustrating, but there are counters to that.

The random factor is there, yes, but like I said before, the MAP layout of the older maps is way better for palett looping than the newer ones.
Lyrin memorial / Haddonfield Have way less loopable objects.

The swamp is the swamp, its just HUGE, but the actual LOOP objects are not as many as on the vanilla maps (but the pale rose itelf is super abusable I give you that)

Asylum is bugged, yeah, all paletts and no window spawners.
Sad days for people like me who actually LOVED the asylum after they updated it.
The map itself is actually so cool and interesting.

The problem in terms of pallets is a random/inconsistent iteration process, which sometimes (in my case when I play as the killer; quite often) means that there will be a lot of (double pallets) everywhere making it so the survivor can easily loop the killer.

This of course being the result of a random generation process, which the devs announced they will make changes to and make it take safety into account in the map iteration process.

Since the Devs came up with a new cancer perk called Lithe, every pallet needs to be destroyed to avoid survivors speed boosting themself everywhere.

You can't base your whole strategy on a single Perk, which has a quite long cd too. It's the same as saying "you can't chase survivors, unless they're exactly between you and two walls, because of SB. Lithe is just another tool to gain a little bit of time (for pallet loopers) or some extra seconds to juke/go stealth (for jukers). It's up to them, but by any means is as safe as an infinite, even with some bloodlust-avoided pallets up.
