Dear players from Japan.
Why the hell are you playing in the Columbus region?

Just dodged 5 (up to 10) lobbies with 2+ Survivors that had 200+ pings. I do not feel like playing in games with an unplayable amount of lag and kindly ask you guys to at least pick a region a LITTLE closer to home! Something on the West coast for example, instead of the ♥♥♥♥ing East coast.

Maybe you can get sub 200 pings then. Still crap but at least somewhat playable compared to 250-300 pings that cripple gameplay.

I got nothing wrong against the place or its people. But I am getting sick of taking the blame for lag region jumpers cause. And I am certain other Killers are as well.

Not to sound racist but...
I think it has more to do with available players at this time of day, a good portion of them being from Japan maybe?

The lag is annoying to deal with, but a good player can adapt and overcome any obsticle!
Are you trying to say you are bad?

See how quickly I turned that around and victimized you for no real reason? Not cool right?

I play on the Chicago server (because I live here...) and get these same players. I accept that in the early morning I am more likely to encounter people from Japan and the European countries more so than people from North America. I don't let lag get in the way of having fun.

We can learn a lot from you.

You can't overcome Survivors that can run faster than the Killer or teleporting so much that attacks fail to connect. Then you have the bleeding effect their lag causes to other players. If you watch MLGA pings of close by Survivors you can see them jump rather high once in a while if someone with a high ping in also in the game. That doesn't happen without high ping players but the host gets 100% of the blame for it.

Region jumping players, both Killer and Survivor, ruin the game for everyone else.

11. 11 lobbies in a row that had pings of 200-300 range. And Im even giving them time to find other lobbies but there is just more and more.

It gets worse as I keep finding the same people who DON"T region jump but they are getting dodged as well. So not only is my night turning to crap from finding so many high ping Survivors, I am ruining the day of legit players as well!

♥♥♥♥♥♥ both coming and going on this one.

If the game kept track of player history I could offer proof. But it has never done that for Killers, ever.

It took 12 lobbies before finding a decent game by the way.

speaking of laggy lobbies though, when are the devs finally going to let us see the ping of killer ^^

MLGA
https://www.reddit.com/r/deadbydaylight/comments/6deg1m/mlga_release_132_backup_in_action/

It gives the pings for your Killer or the Survivors as long as you change it to the proper mode. MLGA even backups you save data for you now.

it always depends on where your from, like if your from america saying that japanese players should switch to closer regions is understandable, but when your from another country thants closer then there's no point in switching. it's all about context. saying that in general all japanese should switch regions in payday is obsurd. i play with a lot of people from japan and korea and they have medium ping and i dont lag.
