Achievement hack is nt to be treated that hard IMO

they don't give you any advantage in game, if he regrets what he did and bought the game again I think he should be able to play again with a clean account without hacked achievements

well think about, valve knows about the hackers in counter strike, if they could wouldnt they just PC ban, the fact is its illegal for them to get that data, so yeah its might just be something else wrong

Just asking, can I family share DBD with my cousin? Or does that ban you too?

You can get a new steam account and play the game yes. If you get caught cheating then you will be banned on that one as well.

It does seem harsh to perma ban for achievements since it doesn't DO anything to ruin other players' experience but oh well.

But like, it's not working. All that says is, when I press any button (In the game' first loading screen) it says "Couldn't connect to online services".

Achievements take time to design although it is a low cost way for developers to incentivize the Achievers. Logically, not to permanently ban someone who hacks achievements is to decrease the value of that achievement by Achievers which, in essence, is the same as stealing money.

All bans in DBD are permanent, since EAC. I'm just being punished for what I did. And I understood it was wrong.
