Shoppe Keep

Storage... and organization
Alright so ive never seen a shopkeeper... nor anyone carry a few hundred items of metal and armor.... also idk if anyone else notices but crafting is a real pain trying to scroll through every single item, So i suggest you put a chest or closet of some sort allowing you to keep what you need, also it would speed up production a bit.

The other being organization, Something simple as a button that puts all your items in catagories like item type ( potions with potions, ingrediants armor and so on all to their own group.)
another thing would be nice to be able to run.... I hold shift the entire time im running around cause i think it makes me magically travel faster.... which it doesnt..... but it should ;)

I have many ideas but im sure you guys probably heard em all and already have enough to chew on. Either way major respect to the developer/s on the game, as is its fun.

I hope they will tweek the invintory management system, but untill then I have been using the bot dock chests for this. I will sort items by what class uses them and stick them in the apropriate dock. (I have 6 docks btw) It's not the best as upon crashes/reloads I have lost items this way, but EA, so it's not unexpected. Another trick I have found is to literaly make/buy 1 of every item I am stocking in the game, then put them all on the tables so my inventory is empty, and pick them up in a order that makes sence to me. As long as I never completly run out of that item then everything stays in the same place/order and is easier to find.

That said I'm having a lot of fun with this game so far, and unlike most (it seems) I enjoy and have had good experiances with EA games to date (Prison Archetict, Darkest Dungoen) I'd also like to see a bit more customerization in setting prices of individual items rather then across the board mark ups, advertising, quests given to find/make specific items for customers. This reminds me a bit of the game fairy godmother tycoon, not sure if anyone else played that.

I must say i agree with you, Early Access is a godsend, BUT there should be more strict rules to what they do and dont accept into the list, when i first joined steam everything was top games and very popular but now i see a lot of games that look similar to highschool projects, which ive found better flash games than. That being said, Rust, Ark, subnautica, hell i have probably 40 EA games and out of all of them there are a select few i can say are better than any AAA game ever. I think nearly any game set aside hyped games, should go EA so they can get the game made right.

By more strict I mean they should have to hold a higher rating than mostly negative and such, those should be placed back into greenlit and given another chance to try another release at a better time. I have seen a few too many EA games just sorta die in EA and then you know theres some one out there making money off an unfinished and unliked game and they just leave it dead because it cost less to just leave it. If not based on reviews than they should have admins or something that check on games to make sure they are just simply cash grabs

Thank you for the tips, i honestly dont use the bots at all.... Nevver heard of the tycoon game but i enjoy nearly any tycoon game that isnt an exact replica of every other one, will have to look it up.

P.S. sorry about the book, got some opinions on EA myself lol.

No worries, I use the Bots for security to zap thieves, and sometimes 1 to pick up stuff. I don't use the restocking ones, those need work(game mechanichs) before they are usable really, so I just use those. EA is really becomming a subsitute for late Beta in a ton of cases, and I always injoyed betaing games. The Fairy Godmother Tycoon is an old flash game, not sure you can find it anymore, it was kinda cool though.

Yeah i used to alpha and beta test some of the older battlefields and i used to develope and test a roguelike that was really rather one of the bigger roguelikes out there though thats like being a big fish in a small pond.

I actually only tried the bots to do restocking.... all it did was sit there and eat up fuel guess ill try the other two things

Oh, another trick I have been using is if you set like objects together like this:

Note: if you only want to use a 2 table layout you can put the gloves on bookshelves to conserve space or only have 4 robes

Then it is easy to pick up one of the remaining items, which will auto find the item in your inventory so that you can just plop down the additional that you need. It takes a bit of getting used to but I find it to be the easiest way to reskock mid day atm.
