How do you sell mushrooms?

I planted them and picked them when they were ready, but they did not enter my inventory. How do I sell them? Is there something I am missing? Thanks :D

You put them on a bookshelf or on a pedestal and then the customers come in and buy them if they choose.

Okay, I'll give it another try. They didn't show up in my hand after I was able to pick them. Couldn't place them on shelf last time.

You picked up wilted mushrooms (Dark skin, and green puff fx emitting from them) Pick them up once they stop growing, or they will start wilting, another thing is finishing the wood armor set for the druid quest, which gets you the wood armor statue that protects plants from wilting.

When you plant them, make sure to gather them before they go bad. Plants will have a green smoke around them when they are bad. The moment the click icon comes up, harvest them. I found that out the hard way with weeds the first time I tried to grow them. It's worth just waiting in the garden until the batch you planted is done. Only takes a bit.
