Not really a fan of mouse control in flying games, so I can't comment on how effective it is, but the game does have it.
Using the numpad with your right hand instead of the arrow keys is also an option if your keyboard has one, good if you want more keys around to map functions to.
That holds until you click (or maybe move, I forget exactly which,) the mouse again.
I don't think you can entirely disable mouse control, but like I said, it's been a while.
