Game is not opening
Hi there!
I just installed the game on my PC, but right after I click on it to play, some popup window instantly opens and closes in a blink, and the game status changes from running to ready, and nothing happens. I'm running on Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bits, Pentium D 2,8GHz, 4GB DDR2 RAM and Geforce 8400 GS. Please help me solve this issue. Thanks!

Hi, Zack. Could you follow those steps and report what the output is?

- Open the Command Line tool by typing "cmd.exe" in your Start menu
- Navigate to the folder containing Teeworlds using cd <directory>. You can also shift+rightclick the Steam Teeworlds directory and "open a command line here"
- Run Teeworlds by typing
teeworlds.exe -c

In the meantime, maybe you could try deleting the settings.cfg at C:\Users\<YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Roaming\Teeworlds

Alternatively:

- Right-click on Teeworlds in Steam
- Properties
- Set Launch Options
- Enter "logfile teeworlds.log" (with quotes)
- Start Teeworlds.

Edit: This should yield in log at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Teeworlds

It says: error (0xc000007b). I have checked the system requirements and my computer meets the requirements very well

Ah. This usually happens when a 64bit application is run on 32bit Windows.
Do you have a 32bit Windows? If you do not know, you can determine it following the instructions here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/827218/how-to-determine-whether-a-computer-is-running-a-32-bit-version-or-64

4.00GB RAM
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3210M CPU @ 2.50GHz 2.50 GHz.

This is most likely a bug on our side, so first off, thanks for the report.
We haven't investigated yet.
In the meantime, if you really want to play, you could try to download 64-bit Teeworlds directly from the website: https://github.com/teeworlds/teeworlds/releases/download/0.7.2/teeworlds-0.7.2-win64.zip (unzip, and double click teeworlds.exe)

I'll update when we figure it out.

So, it turns out this error can be fixed by installing the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio.

Please download https://aka.ms/vs/15/release/vc_redist.x64.exe (64 bit) or https://aka.ms/vs/15/release/vc_redist.x86.exe (32 bit)

You can also get it from Microsoft's download page there: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2977003/the-latest-supported-visual-c-downloads
