Help me catching Shells at White Moose Lake

Hi, I'm trying to do the challenge "White Moose Janitor II", where you're supposed to get 100 Shells or underwater items. I see people around me catch them a lot, but no matter what I do, I simply cannot. I'm starting to think if there's something wrong with my game. But it's probably just the way I do it, that's wrong. Can somebody please make a video on Youtube, Twitch or some place else to show me how it's done? I'd would like to see what gear is the best and the retrieve method, and also the lure used. I do get snagged once in a while, but the lure keeps getting loose, even at speed on on the reel. Every tip is welcome, so please comment below.

When you spawn in, go to the left side of the dock and cast as far out and as close to the mountain face as you can. It should be right next to a slight jut out. Use a 30 m crankbait. I reel max speed until it hits bottom then drop it to a 2. You won't catch one every cast but you will get one semi regularly. Or you can do what I do, max cast, reel on a 3 speed and set something like a coffee cup on the spacebar. And keep repeating.

2 oz 6/0 med spoon. Cast off right hand end of dock. Keep within 10ft of bank. Let sink and scrape along bottom.

Thank you both. The trick with scrabing the bottom with a 6/0 medium spoon doesn't work for me, no matter the reel speed. I will leave the place and return with a 30meter Crankbait to see if that works better. Other suggestions are welcome, and a video where you catch shells quite often would be would be much appreciated. Then hopefully I could replicate the technic

I got shells useing a bottom fishing set up and just dragged on the bottom

#4 I have tried that also. I have now left the White Moose lake, and is preparing for another trip there. I will go there with a new setup, and some different lures this time. Like I said earlier, if anyone is going to fish there anytime soon, and also is streaming on Twitch or other places, let me know.
