frunt drag all mostly have 8 drag increments (i think there may be some 6 increment ones at lower level, and If i recall casting reels have 6 drag settings)
so do a bit of maths
max reel drag / number of drag increments = drag per increment.
as some frunt drag reels still get very close to some lines braking load, like the FatBoySpin 4000 (7kg / 8 increment = 0.875kg increments, 4 increments = 3.5kg (3.6kg line), 5 increments = 4.375kg (4.5kg line))
I did not realise that reel from the same serie (and manufacturer) could have different drag settings. (I fact I didn't purchase any of them yet)
This info is missing from shop description.
Now I know that I have to consider this criteria befor I purchase one of them. Thanks !
the CallistoXSR 1000 & CallistoXSR 1400 both have 12 drag settings (or did the last time I used them just befor the big update) they are the first and second rear drag reels, one avalable at level 2 the other at level 5.
the only 6 drag increment frunt drag spinning reels are the MiniSpin 800 & 1200, the InspireCast 2000 & 3000, the Callisto MG 2500 & 3000, the CallistoXS 1000 & 1400, and the WinCast 1500 and 2500.
all the other frunt drag reels have 8 drag increments.
i also went in and double checked, and stand corrected. i must have been thinking of the lower front drags that have less.
