Crawfish and Shads

I am at level 11. I can buy a crawfish or shad lure. When I try to add it to my lure pole. I get a message saying a hook has to be equipped first. However ALL my hooks 1/0, 2, 4, 8, & the X special 4/0 will not hightlight. How can I equip a hook to a pole when the hooks do not highlight. It is like they cannot go on the lure pole. But if thats so. How do I add a shad or crawfish or any other lure that requires a hook?

If regualr hooks 1/0 2/0 etc. etc. will not "highlight" you are trying to equip them on a pole meant for lures, visa vera if lures will not "highlight" you are trying to equip them on a pole meant for float and bait. This is usually the case. To use a shad, worm, grub etc. etc. you have to have a jighead on the line first. To use a hook on a float rod you need a bobber on the line first.

ok on my telefloat I have everything needed ot use but the crawfish (which is a lure not bait) does not hightlight. On my Valspin I have a bass jig ( 1/8 oz. - #1/0 )but when i try to add the shad or the crawfish. I get told a hook has to be equipped.

Upon further invetigation. I'M STUPID. I was looking at HOOKS not JIG HEAD HOOKS. All is right with the world. I'm a dirtbag. LOL thanks fo rthe hep.
