Why the ♥♥♥♥.. is it telling me i cant equip the line i bought to go onto my reel... "you cant equip any more items" what.. the.. f.u.c.k... is this...

Try to restart the game. If you want to help write down which line after which actions, are you playing long and stuff. Otherwise we can't help.

Load the game, Go to my inventory, Try to drag over a new bought lure to my hook slot, Tells me" Cant equip item" Try with a different lure, Get same result, cant equip 3lb test line either, Bought a few different rods, tried 2 different reals, Nothing works... Level 3, and i feel like uninstalling the game.

I had kinda the same issue. My fix was dragging all the stuff into home inventory and then equipping it from there. Dont try to do this if you're at your fishing spot. You need to go home.

A bazzlion different reasons. What line did you buy? Start there.
Did you go "home" to get it? Because if it's in your home inventory, then you might have to remove your exisitng line and put it in your home inventory first - you can't carry all items you get at the same time.

And, as the developer said; The way you're phrasing yourself is incredibly not helpful to anyone trying to help you.

Although his choice of words might be harsh, I share his frustration about this. I've been told in chat that a bass jig would be an excellent first buy if you are going after bass. So I did ( in my home state ) and tried to equip it. Now mind you; i'm a fishing nub but I wish to learn. Yet nothing tells me what i'm doing wrong.

So I looked for FAQ's and movies and someone was using a ' spoon '. Fine, i'll buy a spoon and see if that works. Again; can't equip item. I bought a stronger line, Better reel, different hook sizes. Again; frustration.

I think I read the catchline for the game was ' made by anglers for anglers ' and you are indeed correct. As this is anything but learning friendly. At least tell me in that error message what i'm suppose to do to make it work.

Cant change Any tackle whatsoever just drops back to inventory and when at home cant change rods tackle bait anything in fact keeps telling me i cant load any more items the counter says its full but no actual items are there .
