Can`t equip new rod

I cannot equip my new spinning rod. it only say 1 numer over my rod in inventory, ever though i bought a new spinning rod. im level 4. Is it because im not high enough level?

You need a larger rod case that will carry more than 1 rod to carry more than 1 rod. Otherwise you have to choose which rod to equip. You new rod will be in your home inventory.

Whem im at my home bade I cant even change the rod in inventory. It wont let me remove the one I got. And there is no rod case to buy

Rod cases are under tools and equipment in the shop. If you cannot see them, you are not at home. Same with unequipping a rod, if you are not at home, you cannot unequip.
