Nile perch on Congo nerfed since yesterday?

I came back lvl 50 rank a lot after playing the fisherman for a while.
Leveled up like crazy on taimen and sharks during the tourney and was exited to get to Marron for the catfish. It was an enormous disappointment. lol

Someone check the biggest smally in Oregon.
I got a 2+ Kg one in 2017 I have on video.
Try to get a 1.9 now. :P

Something is up today at Congo compare to yesterday it feels less bites like 50% less while fishing tigers, yesterday I was getting 100kg-120kg from a spot and today no more than 50 and spot dies.

Maybe the Weather has Changed? Temps, Barometer, Wind etc.

Not likely it's the same for 2-3 years I'm rotating spots I get 100-120kg and move to next, so now at every new spot they bite for 15-20 in-game minutes then stop and before bite would still go for another 20 in-game minutes. I guess I need to rotate more frequently now....

I have now fished the Congo for 14 days a day (4-5 hours). Always at the same spot with 4 Mokonzi 360 from the shore.

Me too! 👍🏼 I used four spots to fish tigers and 5 setup: 2 Mokonzi, 1 La Cazadora, 1 Bobber Rod & TropiCana.

Well lucky you guys you done with grinding, but I still got 4 more levels to go to 90, so I would like them not to change spawning times per spot.

There over 18 places to catch tigers in the map but only 5 main areas.
1. Left side of waterfall (both types) (land and water)
2. Middle island left side 170 ft approx out towards waterfall only GT caught there (landing spot) (land best here) I call it Tiger Ridge because you are fishing on and over a ridge.
3. Near and on water/land west side of waterfall (both types)
4. Tip of island (land, I call it Tiger Point) heading towards stump in river (middle map) AT only.
5. Just before stump ( land, best location) I call the Tiger's Den (both tigers)
All produce trophies and unis.
There several more that will also give good results.
I use floats only for tigers.

Anyway whatever hiccup I had in the morning is gone and even of peak after that morning I got 3/4 net full with tigers, now forward to evening peak and I'll be all set.

I don't know if the location appears in Kelvy's list, but I caught the tigers here best:

My position: -35 / -462 (approaching the rock from behind)

1st buoy: +3 / -466
2nd buoy: +7 / -468

4 bottom rods, 6/0 hooks, large minnows

In one hour (RL) with 700 kg landing net between 150 - 180K XP.

I got tired of tigerfish so I gave Dave's method a try. 15 minutes real time Uni,Trophy,Uni. Never tried the spot he showed. Let's see if I can get through level 84 tonight. I haven't played since I got to 84.

I average anything over 220K to 260K of xps for tigers only during daylight hours (catfish take over at night).
Floats, #7/0 hooks and small tilapia, set depth for most at 35 to 45 inches except at the ridge depth is 55 inches.
