Groundbait/Spod AOE?

Yeah so im carp fishing with a spod rod and its going fine no real complaints. Just wondering if im spodding from pretty far away, does the ground bait cover a small area? or is it directly where it landed. Ive been noticing my carp rod lands at a different spot due to wind at 100ft casts.

When you spod a spot, you want to repeat spoding for at least 7-10 times depending on your spod size, so you can dispense at least 2lbs or more in your fishing spot and yeah it will spread depending on the water conditions and underwater torrents...

ok thanks, yea i just wasnt sure if i like say casted 2 feet away from my spod location if my groundbait would still work

You talking about length of adjacent vs hypotenuse and the depth being opposite 😉
