SPOD rod and rod stand

After last update i can't put my spod rod on rod stand.
It's really annoying and stupid.
It's a bug or feature? ;-)

It is necessary if one of your bite alarms are going off and you want to set the spod rod down to pick up the active rod. Otherwise, you have to reel all the way in and try to grab the active rod before the spod starts to automatically refill. I haven't done any spodding in ages but if they did do this it would irritate me as well. Perhaps it is just an unintended bug. Report it to the Devs and see if they respond.

I could be wrong, but when a "Spod" hits the water it opens and releases the bait into the water. Therefore it is not necessary to place it in the rod holder.

If you have rods going off it should be an option to set the spod rod down on the stand.

How does that help if the spod rocket is out in the water? You still have to reel it in. You used to be able to swap an active rod with the spod rod without having to reel the spod rocket back in. Honestly I don't know if this has changed because I haven't played in a month or so and I haven't used spod in months. I'm just going by what's posted here.

I just got all setup for a trip to Weeping Willow and it is true. You can no longer rest the spod rod on the rod stand. What was the purpose of changing this? I guess carp fishing will be PVA bags or sling shot spodding now. I hope this is just a bug because it makes ZERO sense to not be able to rest the spod rod on the rod stand to pick up an active rod.

Edit. Sent a email to support to see if this is a bug or a new "feature"

That's good news cause I have avoided fishing anywhere a spod is beneficial cause I already get annoyed by how long it takes to reel it in, reload it and then be able to do any dang thing else as you're stuck in that animation.

There's currently no way to switch the key mapping for the controller in the same way it can be done for the keyboard and mouse.

Not a bot. Actually they asked for more clarification and I gave it to them after the first email. They asked for video or pictures of the issue. That was the second reply. The automated bot is the first email you get saying they got your email.

So I was asking for safeguard on max drag when using Xbox controller since quick rod switching accidentally was engaging max drag killing my rods in the process. It's still an issue for me and nothing was done yet. Let's see how long it will take to fix spod issue 😉
