Reel Capacity Help
I am not a fishermen IRL so I need to do research on how to play this game lol. So my question is what is the reel capacity?

I have the Fellix 500 in game and i'm using braided line (Braid .006) and it has a test of 6lb. It says my reel has a capacity of braid 4/50. Does this mean that I can have a line of 4lb test and I can have 50 yards of it on my reel?

If so, I'm now confused because as I said i'm using the Braid .006 which has a test of 6lb and I have 108ft of that on my reel. When ever I tried to switch to the Fluoro .011 it says "Line is too strong for the reel, there is a risk on damage". I am now assuming that I will need a better casting reel but I have no clue what one I need.

i'm going to chip in and say i have no idea how to use the fellix 500 wheel. it doesn't work with omnifloat 350, telefoat 650 or valuespin 190 rods. i have no idea what i'm doing and it's getting annoying. there needs to be item descriptions that cover the people that don't understand this fish talk
edit: nevermind, i bought the final type of rod 'value cast' and it worked now

It`s all in weight of fish the reel and the line can hold. You really dont wanna use, say line that can hold 10 Kg fish and reel that can hold only 1 Kg. What will break faster in that case? Riiight. The reel. These numbers should be as much as close. In case you must shoose less evil, I say, choose weaker line, because it might not so expensive than reel if you snag and break it.

its not a problem going slighty over the reel capacity though like if you have reel with a capacity of 0.12 you wouldnt get into much trouble if you used a 0.2 line the reel can take alot of tearing and wearing anyway and its easily fixed back home.. but as a general rule its bst stay withing the reel capacity

The Felix reel is quite nice. You give up half the line of the earlier model but for twitching the weeds its precision produces. Cast out and hold the rod about 45 degrees. Set your drag to 1-2 for good action and your reel speed to 1. As you reel in either tap the right mouse button or hold it until the rod elevates and then release. It's line capacity is going to limit its choice of spots but where it can cast will feel the wrath.

To answer the initial question yes, 4/50 means 50 yards of 4lb test line. Though it can vary depending on the type of line used and its diameter.

Also, risk of damaging the reel is just that. A risk. And taking that risk can payoff big.
