Anyone have some tips on channel catfish?
Never caught one. Tried float and spinning/casting with pet food and some casting spoons but nothing.

There bottom feeders so set your lead to a high # i have mine at 90 IIRC use cheese or cutbait and a size 4 hook, cutbait seems to be a lot better for catching them but cheese works fine.

Was JUST told not 10min ago this is what to do:
Use cheese or small cutbait.
Fish at around 10-11am or 3-5pm.
Use leader lenth of 95-99 (cm or inches...does it even say?lol)

I was in miss when told this...they said go to norther most spot and cast directly to the middle of the 2 boats...about 40 (ft..meters?!?) out is where your cast should land.

Seemed to be alot catching catfish....and no one contradicted this info.....though I did not try it myself.....lvl 2 and going for bass to lvl!!

edit:
FFS USA....time to change to metric like the rest of the world and be done with this sillyness.......
