Repair Reels

how can i repair my reel. There is an icon close by the reel but i can't do anything. How to do that ?

if the special popup does not appear try to move the reel to youre home storage area and see if you can click the reapir wrench next to it.

I can't repair my rod or my reel

Cant repair my reels either but i got a wrench symbol below my "fishholders" sorry not nativ english kinda sucks now i have to buy multible new reels
which i kinda dont want.

I am having the same issue, I bought the best reel available, and the very first fish it hooked the reel broke. I have been unable to repair it.

A red wrench means it's broken beyond repair. Buy a new reel.

if you fish with balanced equipment and set drag right, hwo can you break the reel....that puzzles me.
so, the line should be the waekest factor, so it will break first if things go wrong.

You cant break it if set right. Set right you wont break anything.

Easy to break when you max drag and RMB spam.

Make sure your line is the weakest part of the set up always.

Is there any other way to repair gear with out having to take it out of your inventory slot in to your home slot , repair , then go true the pain of putting every thing back in rod reel bait hook bobber and line, it is a pain.

understanding why you break things will go along way to make the pain less or vanish all together..

I've not even broken my reel or rod since i started putting correct gear together. for instance never use a stronger line than youre reel is made for that way you wont break youre reel, and never use a stronger reel than youre rod.. combining the gear correctly is a part of the game. my advice is, try harder and the pain will go away by itself ;)

I have a trick that helps.

1. Replace the rod/reel with a place holder rod/reel. You do this by draging a rod/reel from your home storage and place it on top of the one you want to repair.

2. Same trick as above for Rod holders, vest and fish nets. I just keep a second set of those items to replace when needed.

3. Dont repair your items untill they are red or break. When you do this, what will happen is you will be prompted to repair those items when you leave the lake. Then you can just click the "repair all" button. Sadly this only repairs the items shown in that box

Hope that helps.

We all really hope the "fix" this, and make it easier to repair.
If we repair at the lake make it cost 2x the amount.
If we repair at the home... let us repair all with a single click.

Another idea is to sell repair kits. That as long as we are carring some, we can repair our own gear at the lake and in our inventory.
