Can't equip a rod with a spin?

Hello, I have this problem where I can't equip a certain rod (valuespin) with a certain reel (insiprecast). Yesterday I lost like 150 credit just trying to go back home and trying to equip it!
I have included a screenshot below.
Sometimes I am able to equip the reel but then it won't work at all with a 0.18mm mono line (just says the same as in the picture; "can't equip more") and if I equip the rod with a 0.2mm FLUOROCARBON it says the reel might get damaged because the line is too strong...eventhough the spin should take 0.2 fluorocarbon line np? Ty for any help on this issue!!!

I experience this myself, and what the problem is that unless you bought like gear (like a vest, backpack, etc) you can only carry 1 type of line, and that is why it is saying you cannot equip more.

I'm guessing since it is allowing you to use the FLUOROCARBON line, that must already be in your inventory, you will need to click that to place it back in your home's inventory and then once that is in your home inventory and you make sure you have no more lines in your inventory, then you should be able to equip that mono line.

it could also be that you already have a reel in your backpack. ifso put that in your home storage and you are able to build your rod.

Thank you, you guys sorted the problerm at last!
This didn't even my cross my mind...(NOTE FOR THE DEVS: The game could give you somekind of a tip instead of just stating "cannot equip blabbla").

Have to agree, its not user friendly atm, need more info for people who not know real fishing ^^

Hey!

You are trying to equip a spinning rod with a casting reel. And this is physically not possible like in life.

We definitely need a lot of work to do making the experience more friendly. Sorry about that.

Like you said, like in real life, never fished in real life so i know nothing, there should be info before buy on a casting reel on every spinning rod this can go, i randomly buy thing atm to try make thing work togherer ^^

And all your guide is in english, ex, i just not know what fish is a brass in my game in french :D

Autant pour moi, should be better at read skill :D add too info on monofil go with what reel, really a hard game for newb like me :D
