How to play Multiplayer/Co-op

Hey both a friend and me just finished the Tutorial and now we wanna play together.
Can anyone tell us how?

I am fairly sure that co-op or any form of actual mutliplayer is not in the game yet :)

The devs haven`t added the ability to play with friends yet but once they add the ability to add friends (because there is a friends tab) you then might be able to join the server that they are in.

also when boats are introduced I believe you'll be able to party up with friends and go out together

Yup, this is not introduced just yet not to mess up with the fishing itself as we tune it and the balance.

So does that mean a co-op partner will be in the players own fishing session? will we be able to see each other like in co-op modes of other fishing games?
