why aimed cast dont work?

hi guys.....i have a problem......when i play the tutorial "cast near the lily pads"....i press mouse left for the cast but my cast is too short...i wanna change the cast,i press f11 but dont work.....have a solution? sorry for my english :)

After F11, use right mouse to aim, left to cast.

Also some do not know there are 3 ways to cast. The pitch is the simple one button press (LM). Then there are 2 ways to do the overhead cast. Press F11 to enter that mode. At that point press RM to Aim. Then press LM once to start the meter and LM again to stop at the point you aimed. If you miss the point you will miscast. The other way is after the Aim you can press the RM again and enter a mode where you hold down LM to start cast and release it to finish cast. You still cast in the direction you aimed but there is no distance point to hit so you cast as far as you want. You can not miscast using the holding down and releasing method.
