UNIQUE, TROPHY etc
Hi guys,

Does anyone could explain me these game concepts? I have no idea what the meaning of UNIQUE FISH, TROPHY FISH and how to get them, and other similar concepts related to catching fish.

Is there any guide which explain?

Trophy is from what I can tell just a large version of that fish. Where and how is a secret for each lake it seems you have to figure out.
I have caught plenty of Trophies.

Unique I have no idea, never got one.

uniques are the equivalent of the fish of life time...they are bigger even as trophy fish, give more xp and some gold

In my experience trophys usually live with the other regular fish. You start getting them as your gear goes up in size. For example, throwing a 1/4 oz spoon will catch regular bass, throwing a 3/4 oz spoon will catch trophys and regulars.

trophies are more common, and dont really require all that much special effort to catch. Uniques, depending on what map your on, are typically a certain window of time within a day in a specific location(s) and require specific bait/lure/line to catch.

having the right stuff and right time of day will increase trophy catching as well.

Ok, I understand.

You know if in missouri map, is there unique fish? Is the only location that I played.

Well at the moment. Uniques are very well Uniques. Compared to before. Ive personally never gotten one. Im really hoping for one. But I gave up on that. Its just to hard to get them thats it not worth working tords. In my opion. I like grinding the game I just want 1 or 2 Uniques. But. It happens.

Most have been removed they will be back in next patch At this point do not waste your time looking for one Only ones I know about is Redear fish and Peacocks

I caught a unique blugill in Missouri about 3 weeks ago on a casting spoon. I'd have to look at my profile to be sure but i think it is the gold casting spoon with #2 hook.

I've tried since then with no luck but they are there or atleast they were.
