Which line on reel?
How do you know which breaking strain line you can put on your reel?

if you look at the reel in your home or backpack inventory you'll see a i in a circle to the right beside a trash can click it and it will tell you all you need to know about the reel and what line to use.

Is the drag the max i.e 6lb or the mono 8/100?

I'd say the drag cuz i tired every wich way with the 4/100 10/100 idk i think thats suppose to be how much line they hold not max size.

4/100 mono means it will hold 100 yards of the .04 mono line and 10/100 braid means 100 yards of the .10 braid line. any heavier line is not recommended.

When you want to buy a reel, look on "Max. Drag" value. Beside that, when you mount the reel on a rod, look on rods "Line Weight" range. Now, choose a line that has breaking weight into rod's "Line Weight" range and is lower than reel's "Max. drag" value.

e,g, ValueSpin rod has a "Line Weight" in 3-7 lb. range. Callisto MG 2000 reel has a max. drag of 7 lb. Combining this two and you can safely use any line up to 6 lb. test. This assures the integrity of the tackle.

Now, in game you can see 6 levels for drag setting. It's easier to make the math, dividing max. drag value to 6 and find out how much means a level. On above example, 7 lb. / 6 = 1.16 lb. / level. So, if you're using a 4 lb. line on that reel, setting the drag at level 3 is safe (3 x 1.16 = approx. 3.5 lb.). And so on, for each reel and line.

But beware, this system works in theory, in game things are a bit messed up for the moment! It's more line trial&error process to find right settings for reels and lines!

Thanks for all the info guys. Thats how I did it before, by the drag setting.

Although there are lines in the game that are 20lb+ test and the rods only go up to 12lb line.

Those lines are "ahead of their time" so to speak! Rods able to handle them will be added, because reels are already in Store (VorteX and LineGlider series). ;)
