It my have went to your home inventory when you bought the rod. You have two places things can be: your tackle and your home. Both have indicators on your home screen. You can move things to and from your tackle and home by draging them and droping the item on the desired location. Keep in mind you need to be "home" in your home state to be able to do this.
1.) With the hobby bag equipped the bottom line of my inventory shows that I can add one
extra reel and two spools of line to my inventory but it does not show any allocation for the Tele-
pole. I tried switching by equipping my Tele-Pole and putting my Spiining rod in the inventory, again, nothing.
2.) Tried dragging the poles into the bag while it's equipped and even when it's in the home storage: Nothing.
3.) I saw a video of a guy on a fishing trip who was able to change fully equipped poles taken from that extra inventory space that the bag is suppose to provide.
Any more ideas are welcomed, maybe i can make out a ticket, not that familiar with the game yet.
Thanks for any input

This should be the answer. Unless there is a bug....
wolfie713 Do you see the numbers 1 & 2 above your pole on the right side of the outline of your character?
It will NOT show an extra pole spot at the bottom with the extra reel and two spools of line.
Clicking on the number 2 should show a empty rod, reel, line, bobber. Now try dragging your new pole to the Empty Pole spot. It should equip if it's not a bug.
When it works. You can switch poles when you are at a fishing spot by pressing the number above the pole you want to use on the Keyboard ... 1, 2, 3, 4 etc
Sure is not in the tutorials. Some drag and drop, this one is totally different. At first when I used the keyboard and clicked on 1 and 2, nothing happened. I had stepped back and my fishing pole was not seen on the screen, so it only works when you're close enough to the water and that's OK by me now that I know how to do it. You guys are great, thanks a lot and I hope you
catch the one that got away!!!
