push up kill your casting distance in a sec but works pretty well for me.
when you have a single circle that means youre getting close to a good fish, when improving on the dots it doesnt just raise . ittl go away then come back and youll see 2 or maybe three dots. a way to help this process on its way is to stop and then start it back up again. or pause for a couple seconds wait for the dots to go away ittl come back up. the indicator ive noticed lies sometimes to. pay attention to the tip of your rod and how muchyour tension meter lights up . when u see it light uup hit the shift key to strike a fish
Are you saying the push up resets the circles? I dont want to let my lure sit for 15 seconds. I'd rather recast. But what about reeling in at max speed set on 4. Does this reset the circles?
And also, is this working as intended. How come I cant go from one circle to three circles if I am working the lure correctly.
Frankly speaking some things with hydrodynamic are not perfect.
And the dots show with the usage of fuzzy logic how close your lures trajectory under water is to the ideal trajectory which should attract certain species of predatory fish.
see pretty much says youre close to a fish and how much that particualr fish likes your lure technique. if they dont like it change it up.
alex's answer stick to my feeling. If you started a bad move and then improve it, it should calculate avegare luck attraction. Wich can still be... bad if you made a very bad start ( 1 dot )
Best way to "reset" a lure motion ( only my opinion ) is to ruin it by any way. i've noticed that going straight forward doesnt ruin the motion as much as a long drop or insane push up as i said.
try and find is my advice ;)
Ideas:
1) Increase the drag noise so that you really here it when you get a bite (store option, louder clickers anyone?). I love a loud clicker IRL.
2) Make the white circles ALWAYS visible so that you can glance over at anytime to see how they are doing and go right back to our rod tip, vs staring at that spot waiting for the circles to pop up. You miss a lot of rod tip action waiting for the circles to show themselves....
3) If you have a slack line when you get a bite, make the line tightening visual more pronounced vs just having people rely on the drag color meter. That way I can watch the rod tip and when I see my slack line tighten quickly and the color meter go up via peripheral vision, I know I'm getting a bite.
Get the retrieve right, just experiment as it's hard to describe in words.
