It makes no sense from either a realism or gameplay perspective to have it be possible to enter negative money and therefore not be able to fish
I have not been able to play this game for a few days now. Due to this.
While i see this could have just been an oversight from the devs, it seems a littly fishy to me. Since the amount of people this is happening to.
I really like this game and dont want to think thats what the devs had planned.... but it has been said to me in streams and teamspeak that, this might just be a "tactic" to get money.
Not sure if i beleive that or not.
Something that has a result like blocking an account should really have a better warning system.
Also it seems to fine you every day the fish is in your keeper, and your unable to release it. So it would seem the moment you catch the fine you need to leave to make sure you dont use all your funds for fines... as they stack. 1 fish in your net for 2 days is $200 fine....
Rule # 1 - Before your 1st cast always ensure brain is engaged and not in "neutral"!
simple logic...
People go negative in real life all the time, its called Debt. So theres no basis in your expectaion to risk only the 20 for keeping illegal fish.
thats not true you may fish even without a license in the game and in r eal life.. IF you get caught however you get fined. there is a chance you can get away with it in real life and in game
Very true. But...in both the game or RL "getting caught" is not worth taking the chance of "getting away with it" . That applies to many aspects of both the game and RL. Just like the benifit of cheating ( in the game) is not worth being banned... or breaking the law ( in RL ) is not worth going to jail.
I never said it would be a smart thing to do. its just how the game works...
