The fastest place is the place you enjoy fishing at.
Forget about the grind and play.

-Oregon

Trouts r the best xp. You just reached the endless trout grind everyone talks about. Theres nothing else to do, but fish rainbow trout till lvl 15, then brown trouts at Oregon. Of course you can go fish in other places you like, but trouts are the best way of grinding xp until you reach lvl 18 and start grinding the uniques at Florida.

Go to Oregon. I did this when i hit level 14, you cant keep the fish but the exp is all yours. By the 3rd or 4th day you will have turned a profit on the trip and leveled up enough to keep the trophies.

Tip: take a purple spoon, the trout bite on everything but they love that purple spoon.

I find "fastest" xp are the Uniques/Trophies in NC, you can get about 300+ xp every 15min.

If you dont enjoy any of the fishing so far....why play. I have made it to Cali, but i prefer other spots over it. If thats your rush.... dont.

I Would like some information(time and setup)how and were exactly is the spot u wonder......300xp is realy high i think.
I getting around 230 xp in oregon every 20/25 real time minutes

I do not understand the need to rush and find the fastest xp. What's the point in that. Fishing is supposed to be about relaxing, not winning. What are you going to win? What are you trying to achieve? Learn to relax, and just play for the sake of having fun.

Trust me, after the grind in Oregon u are waiting for the xp balance patch, i fished alot at this spot and i hate this game for the high needet xp from lvl 15 up to max. there is no fun anymore to fish further when u need more then 2000 trouts to go to level 18 for florida

Enjoy fishing ? What if you enjoy carp fishing IRL ? the only way is grind to level 20.... If they would place carp in other areas I could stop (17 lvl atm and in florida).

Oregon is a bit faster than Colorado, don't expect too much, at level 16 u'll get 25-31 for normal Brown trout and 90-99 for trophy.

i got to 16 in NC... uniques give 3-4 gold and around 80xp... when unique time window is closed i switch to bass which gives more xp, cash and action... i think going Oregon just to know the place, but the trip is at 900 cost from NC, so I'm just chilling here

Yeah, I also found North Carolina (even disregarding the uniques Redear Sunfish there) to be fastest xp. In part because of the rate of trophy bass + the short distance to cast/reel them in. No trout-lake could beat the xp/hour I got in North Carolina. True, the xp per fish is a bit less, but the rate of trophies is higher (for me). And it is a fun place to fish as well.

Well, I'm just saying, their are two ways to play this game, moan, moan, moan about the grind, or accept it as part of fishing and move on. I am loving every minute of it. Sometimes just wasting whole days, trying to get little panfish, then hitting the Bass or Cats. Then popping downstream for a little bit of piking. Just like my local waters, only I can not do it in real world anymore. I would like to have a do at the carp but I can wait. I reckon I have worked out every dip, bump, and hollow at the top peg, and am getting to know the lie of the ground on the lower peg. It is blooming great relaxing fun. If folks hate the grind, then maybe fishing is not a thing for them. I have wasted many days, sat in the cold and the rain, watching a motionless float, and many frosty morning out deadbaiting for Pike, only to catch a rotten cold, lol. It's all part of the fun.

But then you weren't forced to grind those pikes to get to fish something else... I got past the grind, Im at Cali now. I enjoy all maps, I go fishing everywhere now (excpt for trouts, not gonna fish them for a while now) and Im having fun, because I know I can fish whatever I want now. Its about freedom of choice, some people just cant live without it, myself included.
