Better Rocky or Emerald lake for grinding money?

I resumed playing this game for a few weeks, mostly while I wait for Elden ring to come out, as a fairly inveterate fisherman it completely absorbed me (even if I don't like the monetization system put in place by the developers but I understand it for a game that it's free)
Now, I need to grind a large amount of money because I want to get a fish net much bigger than what I already have (30klg per fish and a maximum load of 70klg)
I was wondering if it was better rocky or emerald lake to do it as quickly as possible?
I have already tried them both, i didn't have big differences at the end of the fishing day, the money earned was more or less the same amount, but i see that most of the people go to grind at Emerald lake, there is maybe some secret that i don't understand?

Even Neherrin is a nice grinding spot, at least for me. Emerald is quite easy and cheap with early game gear, I guess this is the reason.

Emerald lake is best for low levels. Onl one Set up needed at level 8, no bait to buy as its spinning. Walleye are best credits per pound fish for early levels. Fish at 9pm till stringer/net is full. Advance to next night rinse and repeat.
Walleye love the Barbless Narrow Spoon #1/0 Ammorite. Cast to middle of lake, retrieve can be lift and drop, stop and go or twitch. All close to or on bottom.

If it's raining go to Emerald for the Walleye on light lures. Otherwise Rocky is just as good.

The secret is to get pikeslasher now it takes weeks to get a bite, so you see them poor souls desperately trying to catch that monster 👹

Thats not going to help with getting the credits the person wants, but it is the easiest of the monster fish to get. They do not need to spend out on a float set up capable of handling that fish when trying to save for a bigger net.

You guys should try to create new account and start over then you can compare to how it was way back to how it's all screwed up now...

Its not messed up at all. There was a custom comp there a two of weeks ago. 15 minutes spoons only. Winner had 12 Walleye in the 15 minutes. Comp was 9pm-10pm. Its another reason walleye fishing at night is better than rocky lake. Nearly a fish every cast.
Predator hunt and goldrush comps fish as good or better than when I started the game as well.

Exactly hour later bite rate shots off and it doesn't matter if you are at the peak...

TBF you can get a fish a cast on Rocky lake too in the right places. Especially if you get amongst the trophy/uni Colorado Golden trout and Cutthroats.

In emerald lake you need to move around if you have boat or kayak. Same for any other lake you go to.
