New Christmas Event

I see a bunch of different stuff this year. Any idea if any of last years lures and stuff still work? I didn't see any mention of a boat obstacle course, I have a good boat this year.. hope I'm wrong

what you mean non-christmas fireworks? The fireworks from other events? It work as well i think so, i got lot of fireworks from other events and it been working fine so far

Have they announced anything about this year's Christmas event that I might have missed?

Currently in Beta Testing, Will be released soon. Last year it ran from the 19th of December to the 5th of January if my memory is correct. So my guess is either this week sometime or next week at the latest.

go to the man icon where all your various gear items are fitted . there will be a spce free in the sghape of a circle. mix groundbait as usual but instead of draging it in to your feeder drag it in to that circle :)

So far am not impressed the cloud that comes from each ball of GB thrown lasts about 1 minute. If you think i'm going backwards and forwards swapping between rod and ground-bait every minute and then still only catch normal fish you are sadly mistaken. Plus get rid of that annoying Xmas sale pop up that appears at 1 minute intervals on my bloody screen. Don't you think we suffer enough advertising in our world without polluting our game space with it as well.? Seriously who's stupid idea was it to hand throw the ground bait. What are feeders for? . I have just spent 2 in game hours 2 bags of cookie GB and caught 2 gobies . I caught more normal fish than event fish. Needs a rethink I feel for now this event is shelved

I caught 1 bluegill in almost 2 r/l hours. I was able to throw the groundbait 2 times after 20 tries,lol.
Its grayed out and stupid especially since I use an xbox controller. I was not able to change keyboard settings and number 8 did not work but 2 times for me. They are getting so rinky dinky.
I found the stocking after searching entire emerald area. It's on back of tree by dock. I turned on my headlight that helped.

So we have to catch Goby's and it mentions locations that usually don't have them. Are they adding them for the Event?

Unless Goby's are called something else. LoL I'm still learning.
