Hi everyone. Are you limited to 1 sturgeon a day? Or have I not just been lucky enough to get a second..

they seem to bite only 1 hour either end of the day different times cloudy and sunny, i have had 3 in a hour once usually just 1 or 2 though.

Is this true?I am fishing White Sturgeon on san Joaquin, and the bite dies after I catch 1,2 fish, it seems to be limited, you cant catch how many fish you want.

Fish more then 1 spot......Can catch 4 to 8 in a single day/night. There are more spots then what you can find on youtube, everyone seems to think there is a just one magical spot.

Catch a few at one spot then go to another spot and catch a few more, maybe forwarding time and repeating the above will get you a full keeper by nights end.

I suggest fishing at 88.07, -90.99. You need a boat or kayak. The landing spot is NNW from the docks.

Sturgeon re-spawn every 2 hours. The trick is to fish for 10-15 minutes in-game, catch 2-4, then skip ahead those 2 hours. Fish all times of night except for the very lowest peak times. For example, cloudy nights 9-11 am. Of course, instead of skipping time right away, you could go and fish some of the other spots.

you can catch sturgeon all day but you have to move after you catch 2 as for the most part 2 is max from any one spot in 90 game minutes there are the odd swims where you might get 3 but just get 2 and move or forward time 2 hours to reset the spawn

No need for advanced license to catch sturgeon, you can get netfull in few morning hrs and you'll be done before noon. All you have to do is rotate your spots, 2-3 sturgeons don't wait, move on.
