For as long as the DLC is unless you get to level 83 before it runs out. Going from level 22 to 83 there will be tough with the 60 day DLC and probably not going to happen with the 30 day DLC unless you plan to play every day for multiple hours at a time.

Wasted money. Better throw it in the drain, then you can at least hear it clatter...

Need just over 1 million xps to get that level (83), higher the level you sneak up on also adds more xps to reach the next one in line.
Also cost of repairs and replacement also goes up as well.

At that level you'd be better off buying either the Blue Crab or Amazon DLC. The level you need to keep them open is much lower and if you don't reach it at least you have a fancy boat you can use on other maps. The ocean boats are usable only on that one map.

IMO, the Amazon map is the best map in the game, but that blue bass boat is ugly and stupid looking in-game. It looks very cheap and plasticy. Blue Crab is a good map too, especially if you like bass fishing, and the boat looks a lot better.

Dont know where you got "1 million xp" from, but its wrong.
For level 83 its needed 13204645 xp (13.2 million).
Is it rerachable on the ocean map withing 30 days, yes. If you have the biggest boat it will give about 400k xp when its full (if fishing for tuna), and it takes roughly about 1-2 irl hours to fill up. So if filling it up at least 1/day irl would mean about 12m xp in 30 days.

It also pays about 700k for every full boat, so money will not be any issue what so ever.

Here is a common result from 1 day of fishing. Fished 11-18 ingame, so about 1 hr 45 min irl.

My best advice as a multiple DLC buyer. Spend your money on Congo with a good boat and some classy rods etc that come with it you will open multiple other maps just as exiting as the saltwater map and you wont be sad about parting with a few bucks, well worth the effort and Congo has been the most helpful DLC yet for XP because of it grand range of dif sized fish any level can handle.

Congo is the best place period imo. The ocean thing is ok but imo it sucks. Its too hard and very empty and the whole thing just takes too long but thats just me. Once i hit the Congo using the dlc i was set.

I think those that suggested the Congo or Blue Crab are right. It would be easier for you to level up and reach that lake's unlock level.

Japan can really level you up quicker, but unless you are very knowledgable with this game, it may not be asw profitable as you would like.

Because the fish are always in the same spots you should not buy anything because it becomes boring very fast catching the same fish over and over. Wait and see if they start randomly spawning fish locations if they do that then buy.

If you want to progress faster then just purchase premium. Most dlc are gear packs which just saves you in game money really, most of the boat packs just have you grinding the end game maps. Do you really love the game if not playing the lower level maps is fine!

That will make the grind worse for those trying to climb levels. As with RF4 you will need a Discord and daily posts as to where fish are today on each map and constant claims of dead maps. Maybe for the high level players that have done it all and are bored they can introduce a mode with random or non-spawning fish that can be switched on for those that really want it.

It would destroy this game if they made fish spots move like in real life. But at the same time it also should happen and should of already been done imo. This is a point and click game like on your phone really. Im not ever saying its bad because this is my most hrs game but having the fish move would be awesome. If they did this i bet it may be easier because i could actually fish the right way ( Bassmasters club 25 years here ) instead of the games way and thats not correct based on real life. I know for a fact that i cannot fish the normal real life way in the game but if i could i would be better than most based on my exp.

Good thing the Game isn't Real Life or you wouldn't have any Help videos for where to catch Fish in the Game lol.
Want to feel the spirit of the real Fishing Planet? So here's my advice. IMHO.
Go fishing in other locations (they are many and they are interesting).
Kaiji No Ri - Japan it's anything, but not the FP. I'd call that Japan (Ocean) Fishing.
