PIKESLASHER 1 real weak no catch

Are you fishing at night? What setup are you using? What hook size? What bait? What depth?

You need gear much stronger than typical on waterways to catch the Monster fish. It's best to wait a few levels after unlocking the monster fish to make sure you have heavy enough gear.

No bug but compared to other monsterfishes quite difficult to catch. The chances to catch the pikeslasher depend heavily on the time and weather. Can be caught best at night peak time or dark cloudy - even better rainy - days at morning peak times. Best place is from the boat dock to the lily pads on the left side (round about 35 meters out if I remember well). Use matchrod with float, depth between 50 and 100 cm. Hooksize 3/0 to 4/0. And of course you must use the Frankenbait. As it is a pike monster also better use a titanium leader.

I'm pretty sure he hooked it but got the message saying his gear was too weak.
