Hooks larger than 10/0

I'm carp fishing atm and I'm sure people have mentioned hooks like 12/0 and 14/0 but i can't seem to see them anywhere at all. Can you get them and if so how do you get them?

The largest size of the carp hook is #10/0. Hooks 12/0 and 14/0 are not carp.

You can use Captain hooks on carp rods. They go up to 14/0

Just seen it on the wiki, I'm not high enough level for them but would the smaller versions still be better than the standard version of the hooks?

So for example a 7/0 captain is still better than 6/0-8/0 standard hook?

as far as catching fish there probably isn't much difference. I don't believe carp hooks give XP bonus, so carp or captain hooks probably doesn't matter. barbless hooks give a XP bonus so would be better than captain hooks for leveling up purposes when using bottom (not carp) setups.

I probably said it really poorly, what i meant was is a 7/0 captain hook better/bigger than a 6/0 or 8/0 standard or barbless.

Many players-lovers of carp fishing use Cap'n Hooks #11/0 - 14/0. They say it works. I can’t say, haven’t used, I’m not a carp fishing lover. ;)

size is size. Barbless is better for XP. As far as which is better between Captain/Carp hooks I don't really know. Try using both at the same time and see which catches more fish or bigger fish depending on what your goals are.

Cap'n hook is better when you get multiple strikes and you need to juggle multiple carp rods.

How though? I have always used reg hooks myself and i have no issues but learning more about it might help. Hell i dont even know about the ratio with the reels lol and all the differences.
