drag setting 11 on a reel with 12 settings was told is max drag and why i lost gear the 198 lb reel with the 198 lb braid line on the 194 rod that i have caught over 100 fish on i was told i lost my trophy gear while pole was in holder my drag was set to 11 max drag last reel you can buy the last rod you can buy try it out see id devs are lying to me

this is the email they sent me We checked the game logs and saw that the friction position on your reel was set to 11 at the time this issue happened. When you use this maximum friction position setting and place a rod in a rod holder, you have no control over the tackle, and the fish can bite off the line.
To secure the tackles, you should use the titanium leader, which is stronger and more durable than the line. and even told me to use a fresh water leader in salt water map way underrated for the gear im using

so how does one troll and not use the holder the very idea of this dlc were are the leaders they use metal leaders for salt water i have them in real life selling a dlc for that much and no way to secure your investment of time to grind missions for trophy gear and monster gear that is a scam considering you must buy the most expensive glc in order to hold all the fish

The possibility to lose gear that is in the water when you quit the game has always been around. Maybe it's the same if you hop from boat to boat? I'm not sure how fishing with friends works. I have had the line bitten off with 2 or 3 clicks below max drag while the fish was running so I don't get your point. Teeth are teeth. Yes I agree there should be titanium leaders but even if there were you wouldn't be able to use them with the squid chains.

You did obviously not really catch the point. The question is not whether or when a line can be bitten off by a running fish! No one doubts that! The questioner obviously lost his gear when being invited to another boat just because he has his rods in water at that moment.

I can confirm that: My girlfriend lost a trolling octopus bait which can only be bought with a huge amount of baitcoins and a trophy squid chain while fishing at her rental boat when I invited her for fishing together on my boat. At that moment she got a message that her line was bitten off without having any fish on! Besides she never fishes with max drag! This is obviously a big bug and - most remarkably - seems only to happen with equipment that can either be not re-equipped at all (trophy gear) or only by a huge amount of bait coins... And it seems to be piling up! HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE!

By the way: Its SIMPLY AN IMPUDENCE towards the players not to offer titanium leaders to enable them to protect their gear when there are fish that can bite off the line!

I read what you posted. How does anyone else know that's what the email actually said? I assume this is just the wording that you and they are using. You are saying 12 is max drag, they may mean 11 is the max drag you can use without locking the reel down.

plus if you were lvl 90 you would know exactly what rod reel and how many drag setting their are on the reel
