Selling fish

All the Youtube vids I have seen showed someone spending a baitcoin to advance the day past 5 AM to sell the fish.
Is there another way to do it with regular cash or do we have to wait in game for the time to tick off if we don't wan't to spend the baitcoin?

You have to wait it out or leave the lake. I guess repaying the travel fee would be the equivalent of using in game cash. if you wait until after 9pm you can advance to the next night for free.

You should be able to forward time after 1 hr playing it's usually around 9am if you started at 5am

For free best way to fish at day is to fish at peak times 1-2h before night since 1h in game is 15 min realtime.That way you only need to wait 15-30 min then you can skip time for free at 21:00h.
Also at higher level lakes you can just leave the lake and come back since you need xp not money and you make like 200k+ a day and it cost max about 20-30k to travel.

Fish till to drop or fill fish quota then transfer to the next day, fish is sold at that point and you start afresh, mind you gear may need repairs so take spares.
