Navigation bouys

Hi all,
you can call me thick if you like, but can someone explain to me how in the hell i am supposed to place one of them navigation bouys??. when i have tried in the past it only places it about 10ft from where i already am.

Think they will spawn at ur location, so if u want it any other places, u need to go there first

The navigation buoys are for fast travel in the Ocean not for precise location like the markers for fish. As noted above you can only place them where you already are so fast travel can't be given for a location you've never been to.

Find a location and you catch a good fish use your marker to mark the fish and place a buoy, both are in the map, you get some when buying DLCs. Quick access to that part of map, note must be in boat to use them and they have a cool down rate on travel.

You have to go to where you want to place them, you cannot freely place them on the map.
