Switching rods

How do you switch rods from inventory into rod case?

Click a number { above the rod case } that's white { doesn't have a rod in it yet }, and then click and drag a rod over to the left, where there should be an outline of a rod }.

Thanks. What I was wondering was how to take rods from home inventory and switch out with one in the case but I figured it out. I haven't played in a couple of years and I forgot a lot of things. Another question. Sometimes I accidentally turn of the HUD. The configuration says the apostrophe turns it back in but it doesn't. I have to exit the game and go back in

you can bring only so many rods that you choose at home before going to the lake. 1 or 2 ...you can buy a diff rod case from shop to bring more rods

Got two rods only shows one when i go the lake how do i swap to the other rod

You need to pack your rod case and "backpack" before you go to a location.

When at "Globe" { that's when you're home }, you will see an image of a man, at the top left of the screen and numbers beside him. When slot 1 is done, click the "2" and you will have a blank area where you can put a new setup.

The more rods your rod case can hold determines how many rods you can bring with you. { 7 is the maximum }

I have two rods set up how do I use number 2 instead of number one my case will hold two rods

Press the number 2 on your keyboard. 1 goes back to the rod in slot 1. 9 is the rod rest if you have one, 0 is empty hands. If you go to inventory (I key or escape and select it) and select a rod in that view, then when you escape back to your player view you will have switched rods automatically.
