Premium ran out,now the fishing sucks :(

Has anyone else noticed that when their premium time runs out that the fish don't bite anywhere nearly as good as they did with premium active?I've been fishing at the Congo spot and after my premium time ran out the bites are almost nonexistent.I'm fishing at peak times and in the same spots where before with premium active I was getting bites very quickly.Same bait/rig as before too.What gives?Is this just a fluke or is this the way the game developers try to get more money?I enjoy playing with premium on just couldn't afford it this month.

If you wanted to test this hypothesis try premium free for 7 days straight, then buy a premium pass and try for 7 days premium fishing at the same spot and note the number of fish caught and money made for both. It wouldn't surprise me as it's a free game, and the business model has to nudge players towards premium, especially for big high paying fish.

So many players have made the observation that lakes/fish get nerfed either when a new lake comes out (or is about to come out) or when they run out of Premium. I have noticed both scenarios. When I ran out of Premium, I changes lakes for a while then went back after some time and things were somewhat back to normal.

I do think the release of a new lake does nerf some of the better lakes. It seems to me to be purposely done to try to for you to get the latest greatest dlc. It is a free game afterall, but I do find that to be shady (if genuinly true).

Obviously the money will not be as much since you get a bonus 50% bonus with premium.

I've not noticed any difference in catch rates tbh. Obviously you get less money. It would take a lot of micro management by the devs to switch people's catch rates around when they have and don't have premium. Seems a bit paranoid to me.

Ive been playing this game since it started on ps4 and then i went to pc a couple years ago and i like that the fish take forever imo. Why rush to the end of the game? Its fishing its supposed to take a bit otherwise this would be a dead game. Any online game has grinding of some type i assume this is no different. Just ask how many people are waiting for a dlc so the max level players have something to do...a ton of them. Do you want to be like them waiting for a dlc because you already did it all?

I tested this notion 4 years ago and you can do it to. Get a friend preferably high roller and fish in the same spot same setup and same bait and you'll be surprised how many uniques and trophys high roller will get and it's not just the quantity, but also the quality of them.

Sorry but that is all pretty nonsense! My girlfriend has never had premium at all and she catches unbelievably big fish! When we fish together in the same room she almost every times catches 3times as much fish than me! And my records aren´t bad, I caught already over 100.000 fishes , almost 10.000 of them unique and I have premium almost from the start! But where I managed only 3 unique nile perch over 200 kg since start of Congo til now for example she catches them within 2 days! So if you don´t catch fish, it is not because of premium - it is because of yourselfs!
