What leader should I use? Titanium? Do they break the line?

or do any other fish in the reserve break the line? I really don't want to break the line because i am using an x-series lure.

The Taimen won't bite through your line (leader), the only fish there that's capable of biting you off are the Northern Pike. (They aren't normally found in the same areas).

I always use a titanium just in case also the best lure for them is a 7/0-8/0 mouse lure

Many species in the game are capable of biting through non-titanium leaders, not just the Northern Pike.

True, but the question was in regards to the Selenge River, Mongolia waterway only.

My bad - I just wanted to clear out any misunderstandings so people are not loosing their trophy/ x-series / mission lures. I still regret loosing my Golem to a glitch :( On topic, or nearly - I have used the Trophy Bulletspinner w/yellow tail to get those Uni Taimens too. Admittingly topwater lures are more fun imo.

Ahh, sorry. I didn't mean to say you were causing trouble or anything. It's just that Julian is always spot on.
