Best place for leveling 70-75?

What's the best strategy for getting lvl 75? it's been a very difficult grind...

I already bought the congo dlc once, I'm lvl 74 and I don't want to buy it again

On Steam and Xbox accounts I grinded from level 50 to Congo primarily catching unique carp, once you learn the trade it will be easy road to your goal specially if you use premium, but I did it all without it...

If you are level 74 you can target Trophy and Unique Arapima in the Amazon. That's what I did when I only got to level 74 with the Congo DLC.

Careful when fishing arapima from shore., I remember when Amazon was released I fought one of them for 18 hrs in the game completely destroying my bottom rod at the end I gave up and jumped in the boat... This is the way to stop the fight you can't win...

Where I fish for arapaimas' from shore and have no issues, But at the middle rocks (most fish there) yes you can have issues.

I always fished from the boat with anchor up. If he bought the DLC pack with the Draco he can equip 2 rods in the rod holder and 1 in hand. It's a pain to get that big boat through the small channels though.

When Amazon was released the best bottom rods were LaCazadoras and they are way to weak and the only way to pull big fish on them was to max out drag settings, back then it worked, but no more...

Uni Arapiama or Uni trehira the whole way until congo. No other fish gives you more exp than the uni arapaima until the congo. Second best is the uni trehira its doesnt not go over 70 lbs and its easy to catch.

the congo pack is the way to go...was 56 when i brought it just over 3 weeks ago,now 65 about to be 66. goto the waterfall area and catch the tigerfish or perch,caught a 404lb perch there and the xp was insane! so was the money.the best pack for lvling!
