im new i just started 3 days ago , i have premium , im level 21 . i play everyday off and on . more at night, i sold a few rust skins and have 40$ in my steam wallet.
If you got the basics down, the $40 Congo pack will get you fast leveling and in game cash. You could definitely go from level 21 to the required Congo level in the 30 days it gives you. Then you can grind to level 83 for the ocean map or drop back and start completing missions and stuff to get baitcoins and X-series lures and stuff.
Sorry can't read OP reply to first comment (Ozzys)
what level are you at?
hmmm ok i think im going to do that.
Question , the boat that comes with the congo pack , will i be able to use that boat at other lakes?
the thing is i dont know what else to spend the 40$ on i have in my steam wallet , i just plan on fishing .
If you go with a sport pack I might consider the heavy bottom rod or the heavy casting pack as an alternative depending on which type of fish you prefer to target most. Either of the 40+ lb rods will probably still be in use until early 50s levels and would be suited well for something like salmon, pike, muskie or catfish. If you prefer trout or pan fishing it would be better to consider one of the other packs. Most of the medium to larger fish species in this game can be caught with a bottom rod. Worth noting having a considerably higher weight set up will allow you to reel in heavier fish quickly but lower your xp per fish rate a bit!
