1 year in $250 spent and still stuck on redfin pickeral emerald lake

i dont know, i been stuck on this fish for months and months, cant progress, stuck at emerald lake, maybe the wrong rod not sure, i think I have them all, a 1,3oz gold spoon wont do it neither will small minnows in any configuration I can come up with maybe tried 4oo ways, have a boat, tried a million times from the dock, all is lost?

Lure is to big, the hook is to big, try something small like 3/8 oz or smaller and small hook like #2

You can also get them on soft lures like small shad try twitching at the bottom

They by lily pads just a bit to the right just cast that way,... Is your rod capable of casting light lures to good distance?

Float rod, #2 hook w/small minnows 8-12 inches deep. Spawn at boat dock and walk over to kayak. Cast beside the lily pads at the rear of the kayak. Also, go to other spawn and walk to the water. On the left is a log and some lily pads, spinning rod w/narrow spoon #1/0, cast along the front of the log and lily pads, work lure in top half of the water as redfin are shallow. Good luck!

tried it a couple hours and caught a bunch of walleye but no redfin, 80% of my fish hooked the tackle comes out of the water so no love, im gonna fish it all night

They don't bite at night...
It's very easy fish to catch.... Try it from the boat, I usually hook them up by trolling on bass boat

virtually all my time in this game has been trying to catch redfin pickeral at the pads emerald lake night never even accidentally caught one always using small minnows or spoons only recently switched to narrow spoons, but currently trying to work Sup_DiMON's plan
