I think the wheel is programmed to give you a higher chance of just a cash prize and a much lower chance of premium or baitcoins but I doubt that they have implemented an overly complicated algorithm to stop people winning coins or premium.
My wife has won baitcoins and 3 days of premium so far...I've had 3 baitcoins once and just cash.
It's no problem though....it is what it is....
Sure one month people will be throwing out comments saying they did great winning coins, premium days or cash this month, but I guarantee the next month it will be a different story. Lowering our chances of getting the coins means we have less coins over all. On top of that the golden reel of fortune forces you to use even more coins, so you have even less coins over all if you play that. When you have less coins what do you consider doing more? Yup spending real money to buy more coins. This gives the Devs more overall sales per month. "Oh but what about the premium tokens they give?" So what? What do they lose simply adding a few more benefits to an account for a few days? The growing sales of bait coins easily over shadows the loss of any premium purchases because someone got lucky on the wheel. Not to mention this might persuade people to buy more premium days themselves to gain the added benefits they enjoyed. This is a business move by the Devs to make more money, period.
Fact is I've been logging in every day and spinning for the past month, and while others have been getting good results I've got a total of 1 day of premium and zero bait coins.
Someone said earlier that mobile players requested it, as it's in the mobile game. From the devs view it probably adds some spice to the game that a predictable 300-450-750-1500-1BC mechanic does not. The whole point of mechanics like these, as well as events is to attract people to the game, whether new or returning. Once you have them hooked then they may buy premium or a pack. Even if they don't it's an active player count. "Ded game" is the last thing a dev wants to hear from the potential player base.
They can wave bye bye to being allowed in my country and Belgium because it sure sounds like gambling if you need BC and the only way to get them is buying them or gambling for them.
If E.A. games are banned here, this pos will certainly be. lol
