83 is insane, how to get to that level ?

it takes about 2,000+ hours to get there with casual playing and not spending money on the game. It is pretty wild. It's supposed to encourage people to pay for the DLC packs and premium to make it take much less time. The worse part is that there is no boat in the regular store for the new lvl. So right now you have to spend something like 40 to 60$ to even make use of the new map

It's a somewhat blatant cash grab right now, because they have essentially made the last level only P2P (Pay-to-Play) right now.

It used to be 800hrs to get to level 80, but it was before reel nerfing

If you have reached level 80, then 83 is not so far away - you need to dial 2 527 545 XP. This is 1-2 weeks of Nile Perch fishing in the Congo.

You can rent a boat, so no need for a dlc if you choose not to get it.

Yes that rental boat can't hold much fish it's much less than $40 DLC boat so you can catch, but you can't keep good fish at the same time you need to buy all the gear, bait and lures and rental is about 20k per fishing day.

2 years ago they did something on PlayStation game became so laggy, my PS4 can't handle graphics of FP and I was told it's not the game, but my hardware problem, my kids now using PS4 and have no problem playing Fortnite, WT and whatever kids playing this days....

I experience the same thing on PS5, it stutters and it's not as smooth as PC.
