Ocean boat?
My actual net can handle a 220Kg fish.
In the new ocean map, if I'm not wrong, we have access to a rent boat, that can handle only 150Kg, knowing that big fish are >250Kg.

If I'm not wrong, there are 2 others boat, one can handle 'till 250kg per fish, ther other one 300kg per fish (this is the only one that can handle every fish weight in the new map).
The "problem" is that these boats are only accessible paying real money, fourtysh and sixtysh euros if I remember correctly.
Untill yesterday the game was completely playable without spending real money, am I missing something?
Is there anything in the future that's going to allow a normal player to fish a big fish in the ocean map?

Not a real problem, but it's like a huge change, that's the first time I feel limited in my gameplay. I can't see the point on going in an ocean map if you can't keep biggers fish.
Or just probably I've missed some infos.

People have complained about this exact same thing. The Devs want you to spend the real life money to be able to catch the big fish.

Ohh wow I really don't like this news, I predicted something similar, but never thought that they will take it that far, but business is business they got to squeeze that milk to the last drop 😜 the cows only good to the farmer while they give that milk .

There's also the old adage "strangling the golden goose".

Yep. They've gone full greed, finally. Either pay or get out.

According to LinkedIn their business 10-50 employees and they got to pay them somehow and you can't do it alone on F2P, so 2 choices one to downsize and reduce stuff and the other to come out with the way to get more of that milk and as long as them milking cows out there it will go on. They already made a brand for themselves and they do sell fishing gear to folks around the world.

I'd be against this if it was only the boat you were purchasing, but the pack has a LOT more than just a boat in it. Also, they aren't restricting you from fishing for the big ones, you just can't keep/sell them. So in a way, you're just sport fishing, catch and release.

HUGE bummer! There are sail boats in the trailer. But the Draco, a 24.4' V-HULL boat with 300 HP cannot be used. You can only use that beast of a boat on pond water. The Draco can handle the new water especially inshore, but we know the reason why this cannot be.

Straight from the catalog: The engineers at Garry Scott™ are proud to present Dráco™, a fantastic reliable boat that is guaranteed to make other anglers jealous. This quite large and strong boat has a powerful motor and good stability even against the strongest waves.

LMAO!

You have to remember we need to cover travel license daily fees and boat rental, which will add extra 10k to your daily fees and at the same time we are restricted from taking good pay fish, so we can only get crumbs or scraps from the table. Kind of segregation to F2P users... Is it sustainable I don't know, but time will tell.

the end of fishing planet , all the hype and the joy that we waited for is gone ,

For me, if there is no way to buy a boat with the money from the game, I will unfortunately leave fishing planet.
After 5500 hours of play and more than 10300 unique ones, I'm extremely saddened by this.

Just found out that the rental boat cost is not 10k, but 20k per fishing day when you don't have premium.

Even with my 5.5M in-game dollars, i still will not rent a boat just to catch bait fish.
